I am so excited to share this LOVELY Winter Styled Session with all of you. Every year I try to plan out a styled session for lots of reasons: It's fun, I love it, I get to work with cool people... but the main reason I love these sessions so much is because they feed my soul and give me the chance to build my own creative vision (with the help and support of fantastic local vendors) and take risks and try things I might not have the chance to try when working for a client. I have always wanted to focus one of these sessions on our BEAUTIFUL local mountain during the snowy winter season and this was the year to make it happen!! It all began at Megan Lee Design's kitchen table as a small idea over ladies lunch with Pozie by Natalie and evolved into this epic final product.
I am forever grateful for the giving, dedicated, creative and supportive business owners that live here in Whatcom and King County. None of my styled shoots could ever become a reality without their help and input. This shoot really came together just as I had dreamed with a huge thanks to ALL of them. Each of my vendors are local, amazing and take great pride in their work. Noteworthy Ink Designs created these wonderful invitations that tied together so many of the textures represented here in the Pacific Northwest and the pops of color sprinkled in throughout the shoot. Pozie by Natalie created and brought along several fantastic bouquets, headpieces, corsages and crafted a really unique fern shoulder duster on the spot that day. The dress for this session was designed and created specifically for this shoot by Frankie & Maude and I was blown away by their attention to detail and thought behind the practicality AND beauty of the design. It was exactly what I had been hoping for and gave our model lots of room to move around comfortably, but still knock the socks off everyone! Ashley Lee Beauty came to the house bright and early to get our model all done up and despite the insane winds and light rain throughout the entire day, that makeup didn't budge! Did you SEE those lashes!? Megan Lee Designs whipped up some elegant and simple wedding jewelry and that stunning ring was provided by The Silvery Moon! The entire shoot couldn't have come together better without various furniture pieces from Rustic Event Rentals and words of advice and support from our day of coordinator, Morgan, with MOMAD Productions. Absolutely check out all of these fabulous businesses and let them know I sent you their way!
Without further ado, enjoy!
