Working in the Vine Creative Spaces is a fantastic alternative to sessions in your home. This space is located in Lynden, just outside of Bellingham WA and offers a simple, beautifully lit space with a few key furniture pieces that make it ideal for newborn, maternity, small family or headshot sessions! There is lots of parking and, did I mention the light!? It really is dreamy. I’ve worked in here on several occasions and no matter the weather, the natural light here has been ideal. I love being able to offer in-home sessions for my newborn clients, but I also recognize that this isn’t comfortable for everyone and may not be practical given the natural light in your space! Ensuring that your space is abundant in natural light is essential to a successful session and a beautiful final collection of images!
I was SO thrilled to work with this sweet family again as they welcomed their newest addition, sweet Baby Adeline. Big sister wasn’t thrilled about photos, but having this small, peaceful space allowed her to slowly warm up to the idea and still be part of the fun. I always encourage my clients to end each newborn session with a small handful of family photos whenever possible! As always, I brought along my curated collection of baby safe wraps, blankets, hats and baskets and we merged them with items Mom brought along, too.
