Comphy is dedicated to providing you with the softest sheets, coziest blankets and most luxurious towels on the market. Their slogan “Developed for Spa. Designed for Ahh” is so true, but these fabulous products aren’t just for spa anymore. They have created lines just for you and your home, too.
I started working with Comphy 1) to help properly light and photograph their beautiful bedding and spa lines and 2) to give input in styling and displaying their product in a way that speaks to their consumers. Bedding is most certainly an entirely different beast when it comes to lighting and styling, but I’ve certainly found the most interesting part of these sessions to be the entire team of people on hand just to help with ironing wrinkles! It certainly takes a village and I have had the privilege of working with a few different designers on these sessions including Morgan of MOMAD Productions and Cathy of CDK Interiors. Every little detail matters in creating a plush and inviting scene that makes everyone want to crawl out of their own bed and into a Comphy bed.
Bedding and home essentials like pillows and towels are things that inherently speak to everyone, but our job is to find a way to show off these amazing products and entice you to invest in a line of essentials for your home or business that will last you a very long time, make you never want to get out of your bed and bring you joy and happiness every time you use them. Below are some fun examples of how we have used Comphy products to create playful, unique and lush scenery around their varying lines and to give this client the content they need!
And because a little behind the scenes is always fun- here’s me. Standing on a bed. Photographing a person “sleeping.” This job takes me places and has me doing things I never thought I would. Every. Single. Day. Being a photographer is pretty cool.
