These cookies were so easy to make and totally hit the spot. I have always loved the combination of chocolate and strawberries, but hadn’t thought of putting them together before! I found the original recipe here, but made a few tweaks that you can find below! Give it a try yourself- you’ll be happy you did!
Preheat oven to 375F degrees and line two sheets with the fabulous non-stick sheets from Oil Slick.
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium size bowl.
Using an electric or stand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing between each egg.
Add flour mixture and mix until just combined. Be VERY careful not to over mix! The ingredients shoudl be JUST combined.
Stir in fresh strawberries and chocolate chips with a wooden spoon, very gently!
Scoop approximately 2 TB sized dough balls onto prepared sheets
Bake for 12-14 minutes. Check cookies half way through and rotate if your oven tends to cook differently on either side. Cookies should be golden brown around the edges.
 Let cool and enjoy!
