These Twix cookies are so freaking good- how could you possible go wrong with chocolate, caramel and a big of chunk salt!? You can’t. And you’re going to be so happy you made these. The perfect, simple recipe to get the kids in on the baking, too! Find the full recipe below! Before you head off into the kitchen, though, here are a few tips on styling your cookies!
Tips for Styling Cookies Simply + Effectively:
-
Think about the best way to showcase the ingredients. These cookies are smothered in caramel and melted chocolate. By utilizing the 90 degree angle drizzle shot, it helps to highlight this specific ingredient all while making your viewer’s mouth water.
-
Think about patterns! Cookies lend themselves perfectly to the use pf patterns thanks to their pretty little circle nature. By utilizing the type down angle, I was able to create an appealing, repeating pattern that guides your eye across the frame. The circular chocolate chips and ingredient bowls on the edges of the frame reiterated that pattern throughout the photo.
-
Take a bite! This cookie was so soft and gooey, it was easy to get that perfect teeth-mark shot. Not all cookies are like this and some are trickier than other, but the gooey topping on this cookie really captured the look of a perfect bite.
