I am really excited to be launching a new set of blog posts featuring some incredibly wonderful businesses that I have the privilege of working with, the work we do together and the final images we create! I want to spend a little time talking about the various businesses, the projects we have set out to do together and share some behind the scenes shots of how it all unfolds as well as those final images.
Today I am THRILLED to feature Binyon Vision Center! This local Bellingham business has been part of the city since 1935. Their personal approach and connection with each customer is what really makes them stand out and brings people coming back to them year after year and generation after generation. I recently photographed a local Bellingham family who has been seeing the team at Binyon Vision for 11+ years for each one of their 4 family members that need eye care and they were endlessly satisfied with the care they have gotten there.
Not only is their care exceptional, but they have a robust variety of ALL kinds of frames- which is where I come in! We wanted to find a way to feature all different kinds of frames that speak to all personality types in two ways: 1) Styling the product in a way that is engaging and fun and 2) Capturing people in their everyday lives loving their glasses. Let’s be real- your glasses become a part of who you are and your personality!
Below are some samples of various styling work we have done together. We try to work together seasonally so we can stay in tune with our clients and customers about what is really current and relevant! we’ve tried many different styles of imagery and it’s fun to see how each style attracts new customers. We do both in-studio and lifestyle branding work together!
The second piece of our sessions together has been featuring people wearing their glasses in their normal daily lives doing what they love to do! From a bike fanatic (Find Lloyd’s story here!) and a dental assistant (Find Susan’s story here!) to an IT manager for a local credit union (Find Andy’s story here!), a Mom of the cutest little boy (Find Emily’s story here!) and a couple that has been seeing Binyon for years. All types of people LOVE their Binyon Vision glasses and were proud to show them off!
