The Heliotrope Hotel is a little gem located just minutes from downtown Bellingham offering easy access to all sorts of Pacific Northwest fun. It’s right on the bus line and walking distance to all sorts of local businesses- it makes for a great jumping off point for whatever your adventurous heart desires. It’s also the perfect spot for a unique kind of wedding day! Friends and family can all stay in the newly renovated rooms and the pavilion is the perfect size for a smaller wedding ceremony. This session was meant to feature just that- an all day adventure starting and ending at the Heliotrope Hotel!

I loved working with this awesome team of vendors to really show off the unique and colorful aspects of the Heliotrope. We wanted to show how a couple might utilize this space and take full advantage of the central location. These two started the day off with a hike with their dog (the hotel is dog friendly, too!) before coming back to get ready for their celebration! You’ll see photos in the hotel rooms that are full of natural light, shots of their bridal party on the property with all kinds of bright and geometric backdrops as well as ceremony and reception photos. Everything took place right onsite which is what really makes this venue special. Everything is all in one place and you can spend the time with your guests relaxing and enjoying yourself!
