I was absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to work with this sweet young couple at Santucci Farm, a wedding venue in the area that had just recently changed hands prior to their wedding day and is now ownd by a lovely couple! Located in the Mount Vernon area, I’d never been to this location prior, but was instantly in love as soon as I arrived. A beautiful white barn, extraordinary gardens all over the property, and a quaint covered area full of rustic charm no matter the weather. This August wedding, though, was warm and beautiful so we got to take advantage of the entire property!
They held their ceremony under the beautiful tree on the property before we moved to the covered barn space and open field area for games, dancing and reception fun. My favorite moment from the night was when the groom, who’s mother had passed away and planned to dance with his lively and beautiful grandmother instead, also surprised the bride’s mother with a special first dance.
