We had the opportunity to take a little staycation weekend away to Birch Bay at this fantastic Seaside Studio Airbnb and it was SO relaxing. This Airbnb is only 5 minutes or so from the Birch Bay State Park, but even better, it’s only about a 3 minute walk to a public right of way straight to the beach! Birch Bay is unique in that the tide can go out REALLY far here, so we spent most of the weekend walking through the wet sand and letting Pyper play in all the sea puddles… when we weren’t in the amazing hot tub looking out over the beautiful beach sunsets!
This Airbnb was the perfect jumping off point to explore the beaches, the little seaside town of Birch Bay or hop in the car and be in Blaine or Semiahmoo in about 15 minutes. We’ve always loved this area and were thrilled to be able to soak it all in for a weekend. Kelly’s place had everything we needed to cook some easy meals, had a super comfortable bed, a sparkling clean hot tub (the entire place was spotless, actually. Huge bonus points in my book!) and a really peaceful and serene backyard space for us to enjoy. Highly recommend this spot for couples or small families looking for a great location so close to the beach! PLUS, it’s pet friendly! Pyper, loved that too <3
