This was my second session with the fabulous team over at the Skagit Valley Co-op, but instead of working inside the grocery store like we did last time, we spent all of our time in their gorgeous new Makery building where they prep the delicious things their customers love. From fresh pasta and daily baked bread to their famous cookies, soups and dinner favorites – I got to watch them make it all. This new building was a huge investment for them and the co-op members helped to make it all become a reality. We wanted to share this amazing new space and the hard working people through photos to give their members and the community a visual understanding of the significant impact this made on the co-op’s ability to provide delicious food more efficiently and in larger quantities! My lifestyle approach to photography was a huge asset when working in this busy space – you’ve got to be aware of your surroundings with so many things going on and I worked hard to communicate with the employees on the floor about when certain things would be happening to ensure I was in the right place at the right time. Communication is key to any successful photo shoot and I am always ready and excited to help my clients create goals, shot lists and timelines to set us up for success!
