I had the total honor and delight of photographing my niece’s one year cake smash session and it was SOOOOO cute. Sweet little Kendall has the biggest smile and is just full of personality. The session took place in a rented studio in Skagit Valley that has beautiful natural light, enough plants and furniture to get a variety of backdrops for shots with Mom and Dad and even a small chair collection which was perfect for shots of the Birthday Girl alone. Even better was that this studio allowed us to bring in confetti and a smash cake as long as we were sure to clean everything up! Loved this space and highly recommend it for anyone in the area looking for an easy clean-up space with good natural light!
As always, these one year cake smash sessions include a series of photos with Mom and Dad, a series of the sweet birthday baby all alone and then right into cake smashing which always includes at least a few close up detail shots of those frosting covered hands and toes! I always do my best to get a variety of poses and backdrops and am happy to help suggest props, decor or locations to make your session a success.
