Megan and Nick’s beachy summer wedding out at The Cannery on Semiahmoo spit was intimate, beautiful and FUN. This couple, merging their kiddos and families, wanted the day to highlight their love, their family and everyone being together. We started the day at the Semiahmoo Resort for getting ready shots of Megan and her girls before heading down the beach for bridal party photos. The Cannery is a great location, just a few minutes down the road from the resort and the perfect amount of space for a mid-sized group. We kept the bridesmaids and groomsmen separate as the couple’s request to have a more traditional timeline of the bride and groom seeing one another for the first time as they walked down the aisle. It was a crystal clear day on the water and there are lots of pretty places to utilize as backdrops at this location – one of my favorite places in Whatcom County! After the tear-jerker ceremony, guests feasted on an incredible charcuterie table from Aloha Boards, there were toasts and some dancing as the sun set over the water!
