These Oatmeal Cream Pies were the perfect treat and were especially fun to photograph. I loved the texture of these little cookies and they take me right back in time to the days of Little Debbie! I followed this super easy recipe from My Baking Addiction. Most all of the ingredients are things I normally have lying around which made it the perfect little baking project for these quarantine times!
I spent a little extra time working with these cuties in the studio on this particular afternoon. I wanted to practice showing off two different moods/styles in my images with the same subject and these cookies had the perfect contrast with their creamy white centers. Do you prefer the light and bright or the dark and moody look!?
