Here we are, my friends: Going on 15 years in business and 9 years as a fully self employed creative entrepreneur + small business owner and I am here to THANK YOU so much for voting for me as Best of the Northwest “Best Photographer” 2024! I honestly cannot explain the immense pride I feel for building this business, the relationships I have developed and the freedom and creative happiness this career has awarded me. The community that surrounds KMP is something that brings tears to my eyes and it’s hard to find the right words to thank all of you that have helped me live my dream.
The last 15 years feel like they have flown by – moments filled with joy, fulfillment, anticipation and excitement. I am beyond honored to have been alongside so many of you during monumental moments in your lives and careers and to be trusted with those personal, meaningful memories. Simultaneously, it’s easy to recall many moments of fear, frustration, worry, doubt and loneliness in running a creative business. Working for yourself isn’t easy – it takes drive, dedication, vision, passion and sacrifice. It’s thanks to all of YOU: your referrals, recommendations and continuous support that this business has been able to thrive and when those pesky feelings of self doubt creep in, I can find my way through by reminding myself of the strong community that hugs me every day.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for voting for me as Bellingham’s “Best Photographer” in 2024 and for your constant encouragement, love and kindness towards me and my small business. This is one of my greatest accomplishments and most meaningful parts of my life and I will never forget it. I love you all!
