Cheers to another exciting year of taking Gold in the Bellingham Alive Best of the Northwest competition as “Best Photographer” for 2022! This year was another wild journey in the world of entrepreneurship and small business building and it held big changes for me personally, too. Running a small business is about SO much more than what meets the eye. It’s networking and being up to your neck in e-mails, it’s blogging, phone calls, scheduling + rescheduling, it’s troubleshooting and working with all different kinds of people, it’s editing and website maintenance, bills and accounting… And that’s just on a Monday morning. All of these pieces are essential to creating a sustainable and successful business, BUT the main thing that makes a small business thrive is all of you. The support from this community since opening Katheryn Moran Photography in 2010 is unbelievable and I really couldn’t be more thankful. I deeply appreciate each of you who choose to support my business year after year, who tell your friends + co-workers about me and that invite me into the cherished moments of your lives and trust me with the big goals for your businesses – all of you have helped me build my dream and it’s just getting better and better.
