It’s easy to fall into patterns as a photographer, to get the “safe” shots and forget about the FUN, meaningful, REAL shots. Family sessions lend themselves so well to a lifestyle feel and I am always trying to find ways to up my authenticity game. This sweet family let me come over to capture them doing their baking thang in this adorable, bright kitchen. It was so obvious that this is a normal thing they love to do together. The girls were so patient waiting for their ingredients and so proud to do their part. I loved watching them work together, listening to them chat with each other and make silly jokes. Their cat came to get in on the action for a little while and Eloise climbed on the table to really get in on the decorating action- Sprinkles are no joke in this household.
Lifestyle sessions are a way to capture those moments that may seem insignificant as they unfold, but will stand the test of time and tell your story in the most realistic and loving way possible. Thank you for this opportunity Christiansen family!
