Chelsea of Magnolia Marks Studio had reached out to me a few times over the years as she was honing in on her brand identity and developing her business asset needs. It was a total joy to finally have the chance to work with her in her fabulous studio space this year!!!! Working with people who have been in my orbit for years is always such a delight and we became fast friends over the Diet Coke she had on hand for me when I arrived (THE BEST)!
Chelsea reached out about a branding session that could encompass headshots, lifestyle shots, some detail work of her office space and a few flat lays of her calligraphy offerings. We met over Zoom to go over her branding colors, approach, hopes for the session and to determine the most efficient timeline. She showed me her studio space so I could offer suggestions for layout and organization and I took note of the natural light in her space so I could come prepared with any additional lighting we might need that day. We were both giddy with excitement by the end of this call and couldn’t wait to make it all happen. When I arrived onsite that day, I took a moment to set up my light, we casually chatted and got comfortable with one another and then the fun began! We were able to hit all of her goals in our session time all while having so many good laughs and great conversation.
Lifestyle headshot and branding photography sessions offer a stress-free, fun and engaging way to show off who you really are and the amazing things your business offers. It takes the focus away from “okay, now look over here and smile!”, to an authentic interaction of you settling into your space and your comfortable, normal routines and allowing me to capture it for you. MY job is to worry about the lighting and the positioning and being sure that I am capturing you in the best way possible. You just have to trust me!
