I was absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to work with the Skagit Valley Food Co-op on refreshing the imagery of their fantastic store. This grocery store has been part of the Skagit Valley community for 50 years and you can sense the love and passion that goes into this store as soon as you walk in. The friendly staff, curated shelves and strong support of locals food + farmers makes this shop special. I know many people that come from all over the county just to have the experience of shopping at this store and to feel like they have the chance to do their part in supporting local!! This shoot wss all about showcasing the variety of different products the co-op offers. It’s not just fresh produce, but people come for the pre-made lunch and dinner, bakery items, ice cream and coffee! We spent several hours together highlighting their talented bakers and delicious baked goods, fresh made foods and the HUGE variety of items available. We even had some way cute little models come in and help us with some interactive shots in the produce and wrapped up with ice cream- You can tell the kids had a blast <3
I also love supporting my local businesses and the chance to work with this team was a wonderful way for me to help share such a special place with everyone in the community. These photos helped the co-op connect their target audience and customers to what it means to be a co-op member!
