My job is so unique in that I often meet my clients at exciting new points in their lives. Sometimes it’s thanks to a wedding day or the arrival of a new baby, but sometimes I meet people just to capture the love of their family for no “special” reason at all, but because YOUR family’s love is special. I have had the extreme honor of working with some families since the beginning of my business way back in 2010 and this is something I hold very dear to my heart. I can’t think of something more special and rewarding in a career than the opportunity to work with clients on a regular basis and watch that love evolve over the years. There is certainly no shortage of beautiful places to take pictures in the Pacific Northwest and this is something that makes taking photos here so much fun. Choosing a location that is meaningful to you is equally as important as choosing a location that has a variety of different lighting and backdrop options to give you the best outcome possible! 3. Becoming a Part of Your Family + Memories
Since having been in this industry for over a decade, it’s not uncommon for families and kiddos to come up to me in public with bug hugs and warm hellos. This is a part of the job that I never considered, but it has become something I absolutely cherish. Giving families the space to be genuine and authentic with me, even when faced with a camera pointed at them, has given me more warmth and love in my life and, for that, I am forever grateful.
