Working with Anne and the team at Northwest Life Medicine was such a joy. They’re an incredible naturopathic clinic that blends deep care, collaboration, and community connection in everything they do. From our very first conversation, it was clear they wanted their photos to reflect who they truly are as a team — warm, welcoming, and cohesive.

Using Their Images Everywhere
Anne and her team have made full use of their photo collection. Their images are featured on their website, in brochures, patient handouts, and across all kinds of marketing materials.
“We’ve used the images you created prevalently on our website, our brochures, and handouts, and in our marketing materials and patient emails,” Anne told me. “One of the primary values of your photos is their versatility across mediums. They’ve been just perfect for all of ours.”
That’s always my goal with a branding session: to create an image library that feels cohesive and timeless, so you can use it again and again in any setting.

How Photos Strengthened Their Brand Connection
Northwest Life Medicine is built around collaboration and connection. The doctors and practitioners work as a unified team, and that sense of harmony is what patients feel when they walk through the door. We wanted their images to tell that story visually.
“A key component of our business is its nature as a collaborative practice,” Anne explained. “We all work together and are a strong team, a cohesion between all of us that ultimately benefits our patient base. We wanted photos that reflected the warmth between us, the welcoming vibe we aim for, and that depicted a sort of collaboration through our photos.”
When patients can see those relationships and that sense of care, they instantly feel at ease. That authenticity naturally attracts the right people — those who value the same compassion and teamwork that the Northwest Life Medicine staff lives every day.
“Our ability to convey that through our website and marketing materials automatically draws in our target patient base because some part of them recognizes these qualities and is looking for them.”
Anne also shared that they waited to launch key marketing materials until their new photos were ready.
“We were holding off on a lot of marketing and programming until we had our photos done by you. We wanted to represent our services well, and your photos allowed us to confidently do that.”

Authentic, Warm, and True to Their Values
One of my favorite compliments is hearing that my clients’ photos feel like them. That was exactly the case here.
“If folks can translate our vibe and business through the photos we share and the language we use, we automatically draw in a patient base that is a great fit,” Anne said. “You did a lovely job of capturing the warmth, joy, and care of our practitioners, as well as our cohesion as a team.”
Hearing that makes me so happy. When images communicate energy, personality, and purpose, they become so much more than visuals — they become a bridge between your business and your ideal clients.

Turning Nervous Energy Into Confidence
Anne made me laugh, describing their team’s reaction to picture day.
“Our team does not love being in front of the camera,” she said. “Picture day is a little akin to school pictures from when we were kids. There’s an automatic vibe of nervousness around it. You made the experience seamless, gave us clear and specific instructions, told us where to stand and what to do with our awkward hands, and had a confidence about you that helped us feel comfortable.”
By the end of the session, the smiles were real, the laughter was natural, and everyone had photos they genuinely loved.
“Although I imagine all of us are most self-critical of our own photos, I think we were all able to find several images we really liked and were happy to have on the website. As the person who works most closely with our graphic designer, I feel like I have a massive toolbox of cohesive images to share that can be used in a variety of capacities, and that makes my projects so much easier to accomplish!”
That’s exactly the kind of outcome I want for every client — confidence and ease when it comes to representing your business visually.

Why Brand Photography Wins Long-Term
When I asked about the long-term value of their photos, Anne said something that really stuck with me.
“There is a lot we are looking to translate through our images. It’s the very first thing our viewers process, and they determine quite a lot from what they see. With that in mind, our images are a very important part of our branding. It’s important to have images that stand the test of time and that can be used in multiple capacities.”
She also shared that while headshots are great and necessary, the storytelling photos of the team working together and connecting with patients are what truly set their brand apart.
“The headshots are necessary, and we love them, but the other photos you took of our team, of us working together and with patients, of our clinic, are more dynamic and impactful to our branding.”
Hearing that from a thoughtful, community-centered practice like Northwest Life Medicine means so much to me. The photos we created together tell a story of trust, joy, and care — and I know they’ll continue to serve their growing practice beautifully.
